Toddlers and Tiaras Star Isabella Barrett on Her Rise to Stardom

‘Toddlers and Tiaras’ child reality star Isabella Barrett has become an influencer, entrepreneur, and model at only 15 years old. The self-made millionaire has taken on many projects with determination and hard work.

Barrett’s sister was severely bullied as a child and a counselor recommended she pursue pageantry. Barrett fell in love with the industry and decided to join her sister in performing in pageants. 

“I tried a pageant, and I loved it and I ended up getting picked up by the German TV show crew, and then everything just started from there,” Barrett said. 

“Success doesn't come overnight. Share things people want to see, be interesting and be authentic to who you are, and don't try to be someone you're not.”

Barrett joined the popular TLC reality show Toddlers and Tiaras in 2012 when she was five years old. While she had an amazing experience overall, she stated that she was more invested in the candy and the lavish hotels than the make-up. 
Since leaving the pageant world behind, Barrett has become invested in becoming a successful entrepreneur. Through her company, House of Barreti, she has created a skincare line, a haircare line, and a clothing line. 

“When I was younger and I did pageants and even now, I felt it was hard to find something to wear for teens and adults because everything was either too dressy, too itchy, or too uncomfortable,” Barrett said. “I created a team and adult shoot line for kids and adults who are in the business aspect of the spotlight. They can wear something casual but also very dressy, and very formal and comfortable and look great.” 

This upcoming September, Barrett will be showcasing her designs at New York Fashion Week. In past years, her clothes have been featured at the PlayStation Theater. 

“I like to put on a performance so that everyone will remember me and my company,” Barrett said about her plans for the fashion show. 

Amazon Prime’s The Next Big Thing is just one of Barrett's latest projects. The show centers around eight successful young adults and their hopes to reach next-level stardom. Barrett stated that she was inspired by the people around her and she felt a level of comfortability with them.
